Item 6.2 on EB133 agenda (May 2013) proposed the establishment of World Psoriasis Day and the commissioning of a world report on psoriasis. Ecuador and Panama were the original sponsors of this proposal (full links here). The proposal was adopted in EB133.R2
The circumstances of this resolution suggest the involvement of the IFPMA in the conception and implementation of the necessary lobbying required to get such a resolution adopted.
In July 2013 PHM wrote to the DG, Dr Margaret Chan, expressing concern regarding these circumstances.
Unfortunately, this is not the only instance identified by PHM of untoward circumstances surrounding the development of governing body agenda items.
